Seriously these work great and it's science, wool absorbs moisture but they work with the tumbler to agitate the cloths to break them up so heat can work, wool also releases heat, at the end of the cycle these are bone dry
I'd say without any evidence 25% less drying time saving you time and money

your bounce sheet is useless but to add some smell

6 balls for 12 bucks, feedback states they last for 2 years, sounds like a bargain
4.6 out of almost 89K reviews from amazon

We've got those. They work.

So does an old sneaker. But the wife isn't a big fan of old dryer sneakers.

smelly sneakers, not so good plus the rubber gets hot and they are super noisy

yes these work great, just found them like a few month ago, wish I did sooner

no more bounce sheets which are expensive and do nothing for drying

I hate those. I banned dryer sheets from my home. They way those things eliminate static and make laundry feel soft is by coating it with a silicone lubricant that is released from the sheets by the heat of the dryer.

And that builds up in the dryer over time, making it run less efficiently.

The lubricant is also hydrophobic. There is nothing more frustrating than trying to dry yourself off with a hydrophobic towel.
