There hasn't been anyone playing like this since Tiger, and who was as dominant preceding Tiger? Seve Ballesteros? Greg Norman? I know a lot of competition is on LIV, but there are great golfers in the PGA and no one is even close to Scheffler. Look at this shot on 17 today. His consistency is what makes this guy so amazing, he never loses a lead on Sunday and usually outplays everyone on Sunday.

Tiger was more spectacular and electric. But Scottie just methodically takes apart a course. He may have the best iron shot control ever, and that includes Tiger.

Jack Nicklaus

He is so calm and collected, could that be the secret to his success? Never see this guy make dumb shots, even though he did three putt a couple greens today (I know he did once, maybe twice)

Jordan Spieth? He was just as good a few years ago. In fact, golfers come to the forefront with regularity, then fade back into the pack.

One of the most discouraging facts about golf is that these guys LIVE golf, year after year. They have swing coaches, trainers, shrinks, and general advisors, and they never get any better. In fact, they have a hell of a time not deteriorating continuously.

I watch golfers rather than The Tour. I watch Dechambeau, Mickelson, Garcia, Rahm, Scheffler, and a few more.

The LIV TV broadcast is amateur hour imo. That tour has to be bleeding out financially.

I can't believe how he can hit the ball so consistently with his feet going everywhere.

Scotty is amazing to watch but he's only still a pup. Golf is the kind of game that can screw with your head, kinda like hitting in baseball, and there are no guarantees that success will last forever. So, I'm rooting hard for Scotty because he's great and he's a classy guy but there's always that possibility that he could be another Koufax, with 3 super years and that's it. You never know in athletics.

Jack Nicholas was the greatest of all time

Tiger Woods 2nd

Scottie Scheffler is 29 and young enough to catch both of them

Plus he’s a Christian family man AND a University of Texas LonghornKeep it up Scottie
There's no question Nicklaus is #1 and Woods #2. Scheffler has to amass many more majors and wins before he is in the conversation to even be in the top 3.

I watch both. I've watched more PGA tournaments this year than the past several years. Been a fun year.
