I don’t like college educated people much and I will tell you why:

Don’t you just love college-educated people? Where would we be without them? I read Intellectuals and Society by Thomas Sowell in 2009 and have never looked at scholarly leadership the same way since. Here is an example of educated incompetence I noticed that started a war, lead to the Arab spring, and eventually the attack on the World Trade Center in 2001:

April Glaspie, President George H. W. Bush’s Ambassador to Iraq, an eminently educated US diplomat traveled to Iraq in 1990 on a fact-finding mission to discover why Saddam Husein was massing troops along the border of Kuwait. Saddam was not an English-speaker, so he used interpreters in those meetings. You would think that a highly educated person like Glaspie would have taken that into account in a very important meeting like that. But Glaspie was not just an educated person, she was a box checking female or what would be referred to today as a sparkling early icon of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The highlight of the meeting was Glaspie uttering that ā€œthe US has no opinion on Arab/Arab affairsā€, which Saddam took as a promise that the US would do nothing substantial other than diplomatic condemnation. Saddam promptly invaded Kuwait.

You do not have to be genius to see where that educated ineptitude led—the Gulf War, the Arab Spring, and 3,000 casualties in New York City. The real travesty was that Glaspie was not fired. She was promoted and given more responsibilities reserved for educated elites.

A lot of people are dead so educated elites can have great jobs, but I guess it is what it is.

For some reason "the educated" dems thought it was a real good idea to open our borders for four years. How retarded was that? 😐
Do you think they did that because in their educated opinion a menial mind like yours does undestand the world the way they do?

They did it to pad the census numbers and for votes from new voters because wise Americans won't vote for the neo democrats today... and sir that is treason...

That is quite a broad statement. Being educated is just pursuing a piece of paper for a career or to increase demand etc.

Real intellect often coincides with education but more importantly it is a way of life. Being curious, dissecting, problem solving, reading what others have to say on a subject or in history.

My ex-wife used to tell me sometimes I was on "the spectrum", simply because I would read in detail an advanced subject others might not find interesting. Worse was when I tried to explain it to her with passion as I found it profound while she would be more interested in watching Honey Boo Boo or something.

In short, what you may find distasteful is relegated to a particular set of decision makers. Most often those who enter politics today are not the more analytical, logical or problem solvers. That is the problem. Politicians today are just note takers and messengers for donors. Consider Benjamin Franklin who was a diplomat, politician AND an inventor. These are the types you want to lead but they do not in todays environment.

Garbage in equates to garbage out. Brilliance and problem solvers lead to brilliant government and problems being solved.

The more book learning to be edumacated......the less you know of the real world common sense.

University education is a starting point… they imbue one with knowledge but no wisdom.

It is up to every individual to turn that knowledge, guided by a moral ethos, into wisdom over time.

Some people are up to that challenge, many are not.

Knowledge is a valuable resource that can be used to do great things … when used wisely.

All my doctors have degrees from US colleges

So not everyone attending college is a useless jerk

The education system is highly political, much like everything else man puts his corrupt hand towards.

Take evolution, for example. Question it in academia, and you are targeted to be cancelled.

This movie Expelled does a good job showing this

And today the hyper woke Left in higher education will try and tell us there are never ending number of genders and that men can have babies. To question any of it means certain academic destruction as their careers are cut short as this movie "No Safe Spaces" show.

I highly encourage you to watch both films that are free to watch above.

There is a difference between specific training and and know-it-all education.

The real important things should be taught in grade school. That's when kids are most impressionable. By the time a student enters college they should be fully able to manifest the pillars of knowledge of a sound society.
