This video changed my mind. Sorry Trump I don't agree with you anymore.

I've met her and debated with her about the rape exception online, several years ago. She's an attorney Rebecca Keesling, if I recall.

In the end, she couldn't refute my Constitutional argument and I couldn't convince her that she was characterizing the situation wrong with her "did I deserve to die" way of looking at it.

Whatever her circumstances, being raped and forced into childbirth by powerful men is not something a person of good character should endorse

Interested in subject but never watch videos. Time consuming and I can hide all kinds of malicious code in a video. What is change your mind rape?

I understand using Plan B--which is widely available--after you've been raped. But a true abortion is still an abortion no matter how the baby was made.

I still don't think that a child should ever be forced to have their baby if they've been raped, but I seriously got nothing after this video for any other rape babies.

That woman asked another woman if she deserved to die because she was born out of rape and I have to say no. As one guy put it in the audience f*ck yeah her life deserved protection.

Yeah and nobody ever says that you should be forced to raise that baby. Adoption is an option and I should know because I'm adopted myself. My biological mother couldn't take care of me but she loved me enough to choose life. :)

She is making a moral argument and its valid.
I was a product of rape. I have 3 children 7 grand children who wouldnt exist if I was aborted.

Rape is one of the exceptions to abortion. If you are raped, you should be free to choose to have or not have the child. Are you saying that Trump sees it differently?

Wow you were a rape baby? I never knew that. I'm so glad that your mother chose life. Although I think somewhere along the line fathers should get a say too. After all, both parents if alive need to sign a baby over for adoption or it isn't valid. Why do fathers unfairly get the short end of the stick when it comes to abortion? This is such a sad story. Poor guy. Fathers deserve to have a voice too. 😢

No I'm saying that I do after the video that I posted in my OP. Do I always have to agree with Trump to be a Trump supporter though?

It was statutory rape my mother was 16 and father 24. He never knew I was born. I never knew either one

Well, I got half way through it enough to answer that the black woman has it wrong. The fetus is not part of the mothers body, it is another life growing from and attached to her body feeding it nutrients for it to grow. So I reject her assertion that this gives her the right to abort the child as this is no different from murder.

Do I always have to agree with Trump to be a Trump supporter though?
I hope not as I sure disagree with him on many things. But then, I probably don't agree 100% with any other single human being on the planet. But I still think Trump was by far the much better candidate compared to any of the other candidates made available.

A fetus is not only part of the mothers body but is also part of her psychology. A baby has no concept of itself as an individual until 5-24 months after birth. Until then the infant becomes self aware. When an infant is separated form the mother as in adoption a life long trauma memory is created
  1. Normal autistic stage: (0-1 month)
At the very beginning of life, the infant is primarily focused on himself/herself, uninterested in external stimuli. The mother is viewed as an intrinsic part of the infant, devoid of a separate existence. The primary goal at this point, is to achieve a state of equilibrium, while lacking the understanding that the satisfaction of needs may come from an external source.

  1. Normal symbiotic stage: (1-5 months)
At this phase, the infant vaguely acknowledges the mother’s existence, not as a unique entity, but as the main source of need-satisfaction. The fulfilment of the infant’s physiological needs becomes intertwined with psychological desires and thus serves as the basis upon which future relationships will be formed. Crucial to successful progression through the next stages are the availability and the ability of the mother to adapt successfully to the infant’s needs.

  1. Separation-Individuation stage: (5-24 months) In this final stage a significant transition occurs in two overlapping realms. In separation, the infant develops an understanding of boundaries of the self, and thus the mother is increasingly viewed as an individual. Meanwhile, individuation marks the development of a sense of self. This consists of four sub-stages:
3a: Differentiation/Hatching: (5-9 months) The infant’s primary focus begins to transform from internally focused to externally focused, although the primary point of reference continues to be the mother. This internal process is exemplified by milestones in motor development which physically allow increased separation, such as crawling. The infant becomes increasingly interested in discovering his mother (e.g. how she looks or smells) rather than trying to become symbiotically unified with her.

I don't argue against her Moral point, only against the Constitutionality of forcing women to carry to term, a pregnancy that was forced on them in a criminal act.

Ya, I wish I had not asked. I once knew a young man that was in fact a product of rape. His mother kept him and raised him. He had issues from the situation. He hung himself leaving a one year old child. His son is quiet and very loving but I worry for his future. His son is now six and started kindergarten. I worry about his future

That's horrible but what does that have to do with abortion?
