Having severe problems getting up in the morning??

So yes I go to bed earlier but I still do get ul
until 915 ! Going to bed early not a cure

I don’t know what to do

I feel weak , vulnerable and exhausted getting up
Before 915 am

Why can’t I get up !!!

My entire life I have airways got up at 1030 am but I can now get up 915

.

Did something just happen in your life that required that you make a forced change in your sleep schedule? That makes it so hard to even hear what your body is telling you about what's a normal sleep schedule.

Taking care of my husband who had dementia and the attendant "sundowning", I had to grasp any amount of sleep I could get, whenever I could get it. That was about 5 years ago, and I still can't get back into a "normal" sleep schedule. Often fall flat on my face at 4:00 PM and sleep for 12 hours.

I agree with rightwinger's advice -- just let your body dictate your sleep needs and hopefully you will adjust .

Good luck.

9:15?

WTF

I don't think I've slept in that late in ten years or better once I retired.....I'm usually up at around 0600-0630.....I get in a full eight hours too.

That said I use a harmless sleep aid I get at Costo called Sleep Aid.

9:15 isn't an extreme late time for someone to sleep in. If you're not a morning person do things at night to prepare for the next day. Shower, layout clothes, have stuff ready for breakfast...whatever you feel rushed doing in the morning.

Also if you're tired when you get up you could be sleeping too long.

If 'duty calls' you can't do what your body tells you that it needs. I get my best sleep when I go on vacation, far away from my daily work and environment. However, I now get up several times per night to go to the bathroom, so my sleep pattern is shot. :(

Being unconscious in bed doesn't always mean you're getting needed rest.

My only duty is being at church at 7:30 every morning, but our priest has been off sick for a while, so I've gotten off that schedule.

I always got up around 6:30 when I was working. I thought once I retired, I could sleep as late as I want.

Now, I get up around 6:00

My brain sees 7 30 or 830 and can’t handle it .
Even if I sleep 9 hours

I feel dirty , yucky and weak at this time

Yes , my internship starts is going to be getting up at 700 am in 3-4 months

Don’t you feel yucky and dirty at 6 am ???

I was getting up between 5:30 and 6:00 when I was working, usually closer to 5:30 because I liked to be on the road no later than 6:10, now I feel terrible when I sleep past 7:00.

Your body likes consistency, same time to bed, same time to wake, and I noticed how bad I felt when I got off this schedule when retired, now I'm back on it (up at 6:30 AM)

Take around 300-400mg Magnesium per day, Take 200mg 1-2 hours before sleep.
Avoid Magnesium oxide (mostly sold in supermarkets), the body can not absorb that Magnesium well.
I take magnesium myelf as I had bad sleep quality also, and it helped.
Magnesium will not help you fall asleep, but will help you feel less exhausted .
