I don't think so. I have these old Republican friend we used to argue politics all the time years ago. I see on Facebook his wife has cancer and he's having a fund raiser to help pay their premiums or deductable which was like $7000.

I specifically remember arguing about healthcare reform and him saying everyone should take care of themselves. And tough shit if someone doesn't have health insurance. Or I'm healthy I don't need insurance. And insurance companies shouldn't have to pay for pre existing conditions.

So why should I give money to him??? I know, it feels petty, and maybe it is. But this is karma.

My brother and his wife would be 90's when the kids turn 65. Chances are that won't happen. So they will inherit a fortune. I used to care about leaving them what I have left over and I still do. They will get the condo on the lake. The guns. The quad. The pontoon. And whatever money is left over. But I'll be god damn if I worry about them when considering how to spend my money.
