There are 3 destroyers off shore of Venezuela. 2 submarines a cruiser and 3 assault ships are on their way and will arrive in a week. There are 4500 troops and 2000 marines on them. Maduro has sent thousands of criminals and drugs into America across Bidens open border.

Maduro is very unpopular and the army may not support him when confronted with US firepower. During the fake election he got 30% of the vote his opponent 70%. The plan may be to force him to leave. Remember what we did to Pineapple face.

If the government was going to try a black-op to take out their leader, they wouldn't send such a force IMO.
