I am getting radiation exposure at work

The company will get sued for their negligence if it came to that.
Again, how can the company be accountable if the techs don’t follow the protocol they were educated to follow?

In healthcare we almost always operate individually. No one is there to hold your hand.

If I’m drawing blood and get stuck with a dirty needle because I fail to use the proper procedure or safety mechanism, do I have the right to sue the company I work for?

If quasar was told to stay 6ft away and fails to do so, his fault. No one else’s

I understand but in the legal circle the company would be hit too.

There has never been a radiation-related death in any American nuclear power plant or among sailors in the "nuclear navy." These people live around nuclear reactors for years at a time.

I don't have the source at my fingertips but the cancer incidence among these populations is lower than for the general public. You have literally nothing to worry about.

Pay no attention to that green glow emanating from your body when you are in a dark place.

I am just in training only and many times the techs just blast the portable X ray without obeying by the 6 feet of safe distance.

The problem is sometimes I am caught in the room and they blast me .

I don’t have time to get 6 feet .

They often blast themselves all the time .

I spoke up and they tell me it’s not important and part of the job
You need to report this to OSHA and see what they say.
