Good luck with that, they have shown how much control they have over U.S politicians. Worse for all of us in the West, good luck trying to recover the lost Goodwill around the globe. Twitters decision to Shadowban and silence people has assured that governments around the world freely do the same to their citizens and then challenge the U.S to defend their own companies methods before they tell them how they should operate.

Silencing Trump was just the straw that broke the camels back, the damage had been done before then with the suppression of conservative and libertarian opinions. Though without question, banning the president was a massive loss for America on a global scale. It's not even quantifable just how much credibility and ideological virtue signalling was lost in that one decision.

Those in Chinas orbit in particular have to decide "is America the America of old, with liberty, Due Process and freedom of speech, or, are they simply becoming a facsimile of China"? Many nations refuse to gamble with this uncertainty.
