I was tempted to post this in the humor section.
Huckabee endorses Thompson, slams Club for Growth - JSOnline
I just about choked when I heard a clip of Huckabee talking about how shocked he was that Tommy Thompson was considered not conservative enough.
No comment from me at this time on the degree of Thompson's conservatism. Having only lived in Wisconsin for 10 years, I don't know Thompson's record that well. Need to study. But it was hilarious to hear Huckabee acting like his word would give credibility to someone's case for conservatism.
Right now it's having the opposite effect, and making me a tad skeptical about Thompson because what was Huckabee conservative on ... except for some of his social values of course?
