For what's it's worth and although he's not on the list, my only knowledge of Nixon is Watergate and he was the first sitting President to visit China.

Nixon did go to China as a diversion from Watergate.

Unfortunately, I don't know enough about those from many years ago. I voted Biden/Carter. Obama was so so, much better than the other two.
