How will EU Japanization Affect the US and Chinese Economies?

The ECB has made their version of QE more or less permanent. China is more dependent on the EU trade than on the US trade. But, the EU is more dependent on US defense than the China trade and Trump is adverse to EU freeloading on defense. This seems to me to be an inadvertent way of sinking the Chinese economy.
