Trump once said Oprah would be "first choice" for VP - CBS News
Trump flirted with the idea of having Oprah as his running mate over 20 years ago, which should show any of us with half a brain that he is not a racist.
Here is the deal, Trump has studied the fine art of trying to become President of the United States a very long time ago. In fact, he became good friends with Jesse Ventura specifically because he wanted to study the tactics of how a popular celebrity could win office. He even flirted with the idea of running in the Reform Party against Pat Buchannan who was a staunch conservative. And guess what, Trump attacked Buchannan the way ALL progressives attack conservatives, by calling him a racist, bigot, Hitler, etc.
But alas, as Trump is the closest thing to a conservative today, now he gets similar treatment because that is simply the tactic of the Left. Even John McCain was regarded as a racist, etc., because he tried to run against Obama. However, once McCain turned on Trump all of a sudden he became a great statesman once again in the eyes of the Progressive press.
Here is a clip showing how Trump and company attacked Buchannan as being a nationalist and racist, etc.
Naturally, the press is spinning this as assuming that Buchannan was indeed a racist as Trump has become one as well, instead of telling us the reality of the situation, which is that if you run with the GOP, you are charged with being a racist, all for political gain.
