How to whitewash History

I heard Trump wants to compensate Jan 6 rioters for the time they spent in jail. Not out of his own pocket of course. He means we pay for it. Sort of reperations.
What do you mean sort of reparations?
It is reparations to reward those who followed the leader to overthrow the government.

His purpose is clear. To wipe all the negative things America stood for, from history. To forget slavery, to forget our subjugation of native americans, to forget interning the japanese.
His purpose is indeed clear. He doesn't want to "blacken" American history.

Best way to forget how badly we treated German, Italian and Japanese Americans is to use the Alien Enemies Act we used on them against Venezuelan citizens

"I heard"...LOL

I heard you fucked a raccoon.

You're such a fucking moron.

You didn't hear Trump say it?

Trump floats possibility of compensation for Jan. 6 rioters

“A lot of the people that are in the government now talk about it,” the president said.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Trump took the Enola Gay from history.
These people wanted it:

A petition from a group calling themselves the Committee for a National Discussion of Nuclear History and Current Policy bemoaned the display of Enola Gay as a technological achievement, which it described as an "extraordinary callousness toward the victims, indifference to the deep divisions among American citizens about the propriety of these actions, and disregard for the feelings of most of the world's peoples". It attracted signatures from notable figures including historian Gar Alperovitz, social critic Noam Chomsky, whistle blower Daniel Ellsberg, physicist Joseph Rotblat, writer Kurt Vonnegut, producer Norman Lear, actor Martin Sheen and filmmaker Oliver Stone.

So when Trump does it it's bad?

Two wrongs don't make a right.
For the same reason I want murderers to get due process and a fair trial, I want supposed Venesuelan Gang members to get those things too. Maybe they aren't gang members.

What's the theme of this administration?

Musk: 'We will make mistakes'

You confuse easily. Their goal wasn't to remove it, but to change the caption

Current Policy bemoaned the display of Enola Gay as a technological achievement,

Trump scrubbed it's existence, not just it's caption.

I'm not against the death penalty from a moral, but a legal standpoint. After the innocence project showed hundreds of people on death row were innocent, it's an example of a mistake that can't be corrected after the fact.

Similarly with sending people to a prison camp without making sure they deserve to be there.

History is still there
Monuments to traitors are not
Sure they are. Every Founding Father of this nation was a traitor. This country was founded on insurrection, and today's democrats would have been the Loyalists of the day, gleefully capturing and turning the FF's over to the British for execution if they could.

Trump has ordered that all national museums scrub language that makes America look bad.
So any exhibits that discus slavery, civil rights, Native Americans must be revised

Trump orders feds to scour monuments, memorials for DEI language he says disparages US

I take your liberal mindset has a DEI programming aspect.

Yea, I read Trumps screed of hate

Yet he didn’t limit his order to what was done under four years of Biden

This will blow up in his face as museum curators follow Trumps decree to the letter.

Well guess what Donnie?
The US wasn’t always the good guys and all Americans need to know it.

But know what else Donnie?
Your executive order will not prevent future generations from learning the damage you have done to this country.
Even if it hurts Conservatives feelings
No, you didn't because that word is nowhere in there.

Does England have monuments to them?
