If you live to 80, what is your payout?
Do your heirs need/deserve any of that 300K if you don't make it to 80?

If I had that kind of money to play with, I'd probably
wait out the bear market at least 7 more months then look around for a
low-tax state to invest in real estate. From the looks of it. there'll be plenty
of foreclosures to choose from soon.

would pay for a big chunk of it, especially full grown hardwood.
