From the old days of the 1980's at the height of the cold war. An interesting story, a bit lengthy for the impactient, about deception an operating among constant physical surveillance. Probably more dangerous an intense now with all the technological surveillance. For instance, back in the day you could use disguises and make up, now spies are collecting DNA, iris ID in various ways to confirm who someone is or isn't.

Still, I'm sure there are some very good operatives today and they can save a nation BILLIONS and untold lives. It's been Chinas aggressive single minded objective, the West better learn and counter with the best.
