Definitions: socialism; communism; fascism, Nazis and so on.

This is primarily about socialism is the baby of communism. It is part of the lore about communism. To get to communism, one evolves from socialist first. Wanting socialism is like wanting to be a Nazi. Sure, not with the war of the nazis, but the socialism they enjoyed. And they surely enjoyed socialism. Hitler gave out jobs. He cured a massive depression. People felt joy. They had government paid free vacations. Did you know that? Sounds like socialism is excellent. But that was the good. This video will detail the bad. Greed, corruption and China.

Unless that is turned around the West will lose.

For a woman never educated in North Korea, to give such a spellbinding talk to college students who hung on her every word, asked good questions of her, and were informed America won't go socialist thanks to the 2nd amendment, it was a really good talk. Buy more guns she told the group. Her accent means you listen close, yet it is not bad at all. She said in North Korea, religion does not exist. She became an atheist when in South Korea and a Christian upon her child's birth. She gave the group listening to her a few reasons to really like Trump too.

I'm not buying into the premise. Sure unrestrained socialism isn't good, but the same can be said about unrestrained capitalism. I certainly wouldn't want to return to the days of the robber barons with their exploitation of workers and monopolistic practices. Thank goodness for the progressive thinking of Teddy Roosevelt.

What don't you like about freedom? Capitalism is pure free markets. Socialism is state control.

Robber barons for what it is worth is a story told by Democrats. I know of no proof.

Rockefeller for instance is called one. But he is blamed for being aggressive. Aggressive pro football players are of high value. Aggressive congress, when Democrats, are loved by Democrats.

Carnegie also who gave America libraries. And gave his fortune away.

Take the coveted patent, a creation by Government, creates a monopoly for an invention.

Unfettered capitalism destroys the middle class and exploits poor workers. Prices rise, wages fall, and the poor get poorer.

The effects can be seen in South America, where the IMF and the World Bank required laws be passed in accordance with Milton Friedman’s “capitalism on steroids” economics, before providing economic assistance.

The USA continues to decline because of Friedman’s influence on the nation. Among G7 nations, you’re the only one where the middle class is shrinking, and the working class is depends on government handouts to survive. You have the lowest minimum wage in the first world, and the only one without universal healthcare.

Leaving out the aggressive feeling's language, I truly would like to read your proof.

Now how I see capitalism; a system for free people to trade with each other lacking state interference.

I agree with you about the decline but not using your reasons. America started as a nation loaded with freedom.
Over time, such as the era of massive government regulations, worse than curing the conditions, they made things worse. Milton Friedman is one of my hero's as to his economics. Wages have gone up and up for decades. It really is a cause of inflation. Take the minimum wage for instance, rather than solving things, it was more state rule over the economy and as you say in your post, things declined.

Unfettered statism is far more dangerous. Even you claim the poor and middle class are worse off. We have had statism in many areas at least since FDR imposed it on us all. He of course was a loyal Democrat. Illegal aliens are a good example of the poor, yet Democrats really want those plus many millions more in this country.
