I just ran across Sen.Ted Cruz's home page. It is the one where he announced his staff's promotions to senior positions.

The first one is:

"OMRI CEREN promoted to Senior Advisor for Policy and Communications."

Another website says this about Mr. Omri Ceren:

"While Cruz presents himself as a Christian Zionist moved by his own zealotry to support Israel, the politician’s Tel Aviv-driven policy line can also be traced back to his Senior Advisor for Policy and Communications, an Israeli-born Zionist lobbyist named Omri Ceren.

Before overseeing Cruz’s public relations, Ceren managed his foreign policy docket as his national security advisor. Prior to joining the Senator’s staff, Ceren served as the press director for The Israel Project, a Zionist pressure group which was forced to close down after being exposed as a de facto Israeli government front by Al Jazeera’s groundbreaking undercover investigation, The Lobby. Before that, Ceren cut his teeth lobbying for Ivory Coast dictator Laurent Gbagbo, who relied on Ceren as a registered foreign agent lending his marketing expertise to the embattled regime."

Mr. Max Blumenthal said this:

"In discussing Tucker Carlson’s demolition of Ted Cruz, I pointed out that Cruz’s foreign policy handler is Omri Ceren, a longtime Israel lobbyist and Israeli citizen aligned with Netanyahu

Ceren’s sister, Merav, is an ex-Israeli Defense Min staffer who served in Mike Waltz’s NSC

So, how many people are in a Congress Person's staff?

My guess is less than what Colbert has for his TV show.

Looks like the OP isn’t very honest about his thread, why not be honest instead of being dishonest?

Why don't you just cut to the chase and get to your point?
What do you want to discuss?

Interesting reply. If Mr. Cruz has five senior positions on his staff, how many people are employed under their supervision? I don't see anything dishonest about the post. The links are not my inventions. Instead of suggesting dishonesty maybe everybody should look into congressional stuffing, how much taxpayers' moolah goes into it.

You probably should have left out all the anti-Israel bullshit if you were honest, instead you put it in, and now claim ignorance.

You sound more dishonest than ever.

Probably a lot less than people like Chuck Shumer who have never had a real job in his life.

My take away on this guy/gal is that he/she is just an anti Semite.
My take as well, too bad the budget for congressional staff is a pretty good topic and probably overstuffed with people, maybe that would be a good thread.

This guy jumped the shark, had I known it was anti-Israel, I would have passed on it.

You raised a reasonable point about Congress staff being possibly bloated. You then ran down a rabbit hole smearing ONE of Sen. Cruz staff. Now do you see how you jacked up your own thread?

In 2000, House committees had an average of 68 staff and Senate committees an average of 46. Committee staff includes both staff directors, committee counsel, committee investigators, press secretaries, chief clerks and office managers, schedulers, documents clerks, and assistant

What anti-ISRAEL did I write? I do not recall criticizing, condemning or disparaging Israel.

Lobbyists own Congress. We pay for it to operate in sumptuous surroundings, nicely centralized for well-heeled corporate minions to disseminate various forms of influence. Best government one can buy!

That may be the reason for our "politicians" say things on the campaign trail and do the opposite when in office.
