How many of you republicans are rich? I am just assuming a lot of you are extremely rich considering you don't believe in any safetynet like ssi, medicare, food stamps, public housing or much of anything that helps the little guy.
Is this because you're rich or am I mistaken?
No, I'm not rich. Last year, was a record year, at $30K for me. Before that, during the past decade, I earned less.
Regardless... Do you not see that you are judging people not based on the merit of their argument, but rather their income? Doesn't that make you rather small minded?
What you are in effect saying is.... Left-winger: "I can't argue the facts, so I'll just engage in class warfare, and assume you make too much money, and I don't have to listen".
Here's the reality: Your programs do not help the little. Never have. If they did, then why are the little guys still poor, and now dying of Heroin?
Your system doesn't work, and never has. None of your little guy programs help the little guy.
You want to know what helps the little guy? Learning to take care of themselves, not be wards of the state, and to save and invest their own money.
A one-time janitor and gas station attendant demonstrated that you can become a multimillionaire with a modest salary.

Here's a little guy. What was his secret to wealth and prosperity? SSI? Medicare? Food stamps? Public housing?
No it was working... and saving... and investing.
If this guy had been on government assistance, he'd be impoverished right now.
How do I know that? Look Social Security alone.
Do you even know what the AVERAGE social security check is? $1,500. That's $18K a year.
Which would you rather be on.... $8 Million... or $18,000 a year?
See that's where you people fall down. You rope people into a cycle of dependence on government, and dependence on government guarantees poverty.
How can you expand your skills, to earn more money, if you are living on welfare?
How can you learn to save and invest, if your food stamps are tied to you earning less money?
How long have we been fighting the "war on poverty"? Since LBJ, or even back to FDR, and statistically there are more poor people today, than back in the 30s or 60s.
How do you explain that?
Do you even know that every single city that has engaged in public housing, has universally, without exception, resulted in more homeless?
Look at the cities with the largest public housing, or social housing programs in the country today. Where are they? New York and San Francisco. Which cities have the highest rests, lowest number of living units, and highest levels of homelessness.
New York.... and San Francisco.
How many times do we have to keep trying a fail, before you admit it's a fail?
By the way... Houston Texas, no rent controls, no zoning laws, no massive public housing, and they have the cheapest rents, and most available housing.
Our system works. Your system does not. That's why we Conservatives support the positions we support. Because they are good.... they work... and it benefits the most people.
