I'm looking for a word that means something that you brought with you. I'm totally stumped. any thoughts?

Try to give us a sentence leaving the word out, or describe what you want to say. Is it psychological or physical? Who is bringing it and how is it attached?

the context is analygous to a mechanic that shows up at his new job with his own tools. However in this case, it's more like intellectual property tools than tangible wrenches and screw drivers.

ambience, air, aspect, halo....emanation, nimbus, quality, tone...

I'm hitting up dictionary.com thesaurus.
