President Donald Trump’s administration has dramatically expanded its work with Palantir, elevating the company cofounded by Trump ally Peter Thiel as the government’s go-to software developer. Following massive contract terminations for consulting giants and government contractors like Accenture, Booz Allen, and Deloitte, Palantir has emerged ahead. Now the data analytics firm is partnering with those companies—offering them a lifeline while consolidating its own power.

Palantir has become one of the few winners in the Trump administration’s cost-cutting efforts, receiving more than $113 million in federal spending since the beginning of the year, according to The New York Times. Palantir’s US government revenue has grown by more than $ 370 million compared to this time last year, according to the company’s most recent quarterly earnings report. Before making remarks at last week’s AI Summit in DC, Trump thanked a variety of cabinet secretaries and tech leaders, including Palantir chief technology officer Shyam Sankar. “We buy a lot of things from Palantir,” Trump said. “Are we paying our bills? I think so.”

JD Vance's corrupt financier.

Thanks President Trump

Will it be any different than the way that the Dems conducted business before?
If both sides continue this "but the other party did it before," the American public won't have a choice but to either not vote, or vote for a party that will rob them of their birth right and put them all in chains for naught but power and profit.
Of course, of course.

Have you given ANY thought to how this will work when Dems get back in power??
I heard a clip of Supreme Court arguments on the executive using emergency powers to levy tariffs.

If allowed, the implications for the global push to put us into a carbon/energy prison are shocking TBH.

These are just a couple of examples of how partisans on both sides never think about how the other side will use the power they propose to give the government.

More government, bigger government at the expense of individual liberty – it’s what conservatives advocate for; in this case to intimidate lawful resident immigrants and spread fear through immigrant communities.
Eliminate the Patriot Act. Disband Homeland Security. You ain't doing that.

Thanks for that. In lieu of the fact they may very well be monitoring me right now. I would like welcome our new friends to the board.

I would also like to remind them that any pardons do not protect them from state charges, OR civil suits which could bankrupt them for life.

I would then like to remind them that local prosecutors tend to make deals for leniency, for cooperation, so be sure to preserve records that can be used as evidence later.
I would also remind you that posting to any social media, anything you post is considered public and there is not expectation of privacy, so I am not sure what state charges could be or civil suits you could bring about.

Join dBlack in voting 5th party.

The only people who have anything to fear are those who are acting in opposition to our nation’s interests by protecting illegals.
yeah sure, whatever.

It is bullshit, unAmerican, and quite frankly, leading into totalitarianism. That is the twisted fallacy all tyrannies are based on. If you haven't paid attention to what is currently going on in the UK you should probably not write such awful opinions.

"Not merely was my own mail opened, but the mail of all my relatives and friends — people residing in places as far apart as California and Florida. I recall the bland smile of a government official to whom I complained about this matter: "If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear." My answer was that a study of many labor cases had taught me the methods of the agent provocateur. He is quite willing to take real evidence if he can find it; but if not, he has familiarized himself with the affairs of his victim, and can make evidence which will be convincing when exploited by the yellow press."

If you have nothing to hide, then I suppose you won't mind a closed circuit government camera in your bathroom and bedroom, eh?

Thanks President Trump

Private letters sent through the mail have an expectation of privacy that posting death threats on the Internet do not have

Except they’re NOT monitoring my bedroom or bathroom, nor proposing to.

Monitoring a public website, that ANYONE can read, in order to identify anti-American activities is a good thing.

And really, you’re quoting Amnesty Intl as your source? They’re far left - which means they side with the wrong people.

While I do not have a problem so much with social media and the government monitoring public posts for criminal activity, it doesn't ever stop there.

The British, Russians and Chinese all monitor private emails and messages for content that is, "against the law."
Anyone that supports that garbage isn't a real American IMO.

This is how the five eyes and deep state spied on Trump, and subsequently made up bullshit to use against him b/c they didn't like him politically.

If you don't think that AI and the proliferation of data centers will enable the deep state to do the same to the entire population of the planet, you ain't none to bright TBH.

15th post
. . or off to the UK, either works.

The UK has arrested more folks under their section 127 offenses for what they post, than even Russia has.

The UK surrendered to the Islamists -
Something that Russia is much less likely to do.

You honestly think it ends with only monitoring what is posted in public?

Ask Trump how that worked out for him.

It matters little though.
Everyone with a brain knows that Russia has far less liberty than here in America.

It just boggles my mind how many MAGA supporters don't give a shit about liberty & the Constitution anymore.
