How ICE’s plan to monitor social media 24/7 threatens privacy and civic participation

ICE isn't the first to monitor social media 24/7 and certainly won't be the jast. 24/7 monitoring started by the Biden administration office of the ministry of truth.

You would be apoplectic if a Democratic aministration was doing this. ICE is not to be trusted.
What makes you say that Kunta Kinte?
iCE is comprised of Mexico’s finest isn’t it?

Yep. They get you scared of a boogeyman they create, then get you to give up your rights in exchange for "protecting" you from said boogeyman. This is how totalitarian governments happen, one step at a time.

Yep. They got ya. Right where they want ya.

So's your street. You mind surveillance vans outside 24/7, when Dems take over? You know, to make sure you're using the proper pronouns when talking to your kids.

Keep 'em scared, and convince them that only government can solve their problems.
Hahaha…have you been diagnosed? It sounds like it is you who is paranoid…no?
Us legit real good core Americans have nothing to hide…Father Government is welcome to stick a telescope up our assholes if it means fewer illegal Mexicans. What part of Mexico do your roots lie Humberto?

they are comprised of Americans...how come you dont know that?....
Nah, I feel like most Mexicans are here without consent, on stolen citizenships and against the will of the people.
I’d like to know the actual numbers though, I think we deserve to know those numbers…I suspect you’re too scared to want to know the truth though huh Gustavo?

“Stick out”…do you mean look like a real core American would/should look? Well yes, I look like I could be the son of John Adams just like all good real core Americans should. Hopefully you look like the founding people of Sicily do….No?
I’m sorry if you look like the smelly corn cart guy…that sucks!
We’ve done this many times before Francesco…I love being around dark people in their home nations, I grew up surfing and fishing in Mehico. I shouldn’t have to be around them in the United States. We weren’t built for that.

Is this what you voted for? Another hallmark of totalitarianism.

Always watching: How ICE’s plan to monitor social media 24/7 threatens privacy and civic participation

When most people think about immigration enforcement, they picture border crossings and airport checkpoints. But the new front line may be your social media feed.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has published a request for information for private-sector contractors to launch a round-the-clock social media monitoring program. The request states that private contractors will be paid to comb through “Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tumblr, Instagram, VK, Flickr, Myspace, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, Reddit, WhatsApp, YouTube, etc.,” turning public posts into enforcement leads that feed directly into ICE’s databases.

The request for information reads like something out of a cyber thriller: dozens of analysts working in shifts, strict deadlines measured in minutes, a tiered system of prioritizing high-risk individuals, and the latest software keeping constant watch.

Something you post on social media isn't private.
I have no issue with law enforcement reviewing it for criminal activity.

Are you one of those dipshits that scream "you can't film me in public without my consent!!!".

Public posts are public.

Social media is not private

And the same goes for democrats plotting to kill ICE agents

15th post
It's definitely what liberals want. But it's sad to see Rs doing the same goddamned thing.

Maybe someday they'll be a resurgence of limited-government, individual rights conservatism. But right now, it's deader than dead.

Gotta go 5th party.

President Donald Trump’s administration has dramatically expanded its work with Palantir, elevating the company cofounded by Trump ally Peter Thiel as the government’s go-to software developer. Following massive contract terminations for consulting giants and government contractors like Accenture, Booz Allen, and Deloitte, Palantir has emerged ahead. Now the data analytics firm is partnering with those companies—offering them a lifeline while consolidating its own power.

Palantir has become one of the few winners in the Trump administration’s cost-cutting efforts, receiving more than $113 million in federal spending since the beginning of the year, according to The New York Times. Palantir’s US government revenue has grown by more than $ 370 million compared to this time last year, according to the company’s most recent quarterly earnings report. Before making remarks at last week’s AI Summit in DC, Trump thanked a variety of cabinet secretaries and tech leaders, including Palantir chief technology officer Shyam Sankar. “We buy a lot of things from Palantir,” Trump said. “Are we paying our bills? I think so.”

JD Vance's corrupt financier.
