The jury is still out on that about Synthaholic though....
Oh, come one. Seriously. If we are going to argue in favor of limited government, individualism, tolerance, peace, and free markets, it doesn't serve our purposes to personally attack those that haven't yet seen the light.
Sure it does. They are immune to logic and facts. Ridicule is the only thing they understand. Furthermore, it's their favorite weapon.
Maybe. I am not in favor of personal attacks, and I try to avoid them, but I can't condemn you for your choice.
Their mentor, Saul Alinsky, recommended personal attacks against the opposition. Few people can stand up to it. One reason freedom has been losing ground is the fact that most of its defenders disdain using the tactics that the enemy uses against us.
Saul Alinksy:
RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.)
RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)
