How can you get facebook out of your phone ?

You can’t delete it from your App Library by just clicking the icon and holding it. That will only give you a chance to “remove” the app from your home screen. But it will remain in your App Library.

You might try this:

go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > [app name] > Delete

But I got Facebook out of it. Got tech support to advise. Incredibly simple.

You just 1) press the blue square with the white f.
A popup comes up with 4 choices.
2) You tap "uninstall". And it's done.

Its an Android.

To uninstall an app on Android, I just hold my finger on the icon and drag it up to the top of the screen to the "Uninstall" option that appears.

If it's a default phone app, you can only remove the icon, it won't allow to uninstall system apps.

I have found that to be true.
