Why punish a woman for getting pregnant?

Most modern societies realize that pregnancy is a good thing and you don't want a woman to have to choose between her job and her baby

Show one instance where a women had to choise between her baby and her job??

They dont, they get pregnant and request time off. When the time is denied she can either heal quicker (pray a lot) or be terminated.

The company makes the decision for her they just put a few hurdles in the way and everyone knows pregnant women and hurdles go together like fries and ketchup

What are you babbling about? Health insurance is now mandatory, if you can't afford it you can get a subsidy or go on medicaid, ob/gyn services are covered.
