When you think about it, something is really fishy with this so-called Palestinian refugee problem. There are people coming from all over the world claiming refugee status into the countries of Europe plus the U.S. and Canada, and these people are not whining about not living in the country of their origin anymore even though they were actually born there.. Then there were millions of displaced people after World War II who also moved far away from their original countries, and they got on with their lives. It appears that most of these so-called Palestinians, as the article brings out, aren't actually what you would call refugees. Can you imagine if all the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren or the displaced people of World War II started to whine that they should be allowed back into a country where they weren't even born.

The Times of Israel reported Sunday that, during his meeting with Barack Obama last Monday, Mahmoud Abbas not only refused to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, but reiterated his refusal to abandon the so-called “right of return” for Palestinian “refugees.”

To understand why Abbas continues playing the “refugee” card, a brief look at how the world’s refugees are treated is necessary.

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is the UN agency responsible for aiding all the world’s refugees - “all” the world’s refugees, that is, except for the Palestinians. The tens of millions of actual refugees this agency helps receive initial assistance – which often entails helping to resettle them in a new state – and then they are no longer refugees.

Not to mention they are also claiming genocide and ethnic cleansing at the same time they went from 30,000 to 5 million. :lmao:

Ahh, now this is a good one. Because most of the 700,000 plus Palestinians evicted from their homes in 1948 have died (30 year olds at the time would be 96 if they had lived), their offspring, though born in refugee camps, are now, according to the Israeli right or wrongers, no longer refugees. Brilliant.

Lovely straw-person there, Monte! It's always amusing when the so-claimed 'Palestinian supporters' indulge in such antics - in between their multiple and differing standards applied depending on ethnicity.

What is amusing, is how silly the propagandists are. The only people to swallow this stuff are the Israeli right or wrongers so it is obvious that it is written to insure that the already brainwashed continue to be so. No neutral would swallow this swill.

What is actually amusing is that you think many of the readers are going to swallow your nonsense. Can you imagine if all the people who were displaced in wars started clamoring that they want their original countries to take them back -- and not only them, but their children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren. I knew a woman who saw her parents shot in the streets of Belgium by the Nazis. The last I knew she has three daughters so she is no doubt a grandmother now, maybe even a great grandmother. Can you see people who suffered in World War II and had to leave the country of their origin start yelling about letting her, her children, her grandchildren and possibly great grandchildren back in Belgium with full citizenship?

They shouldn't still be in refugee camps. It's ridiculous. My parents were driven out of Poland, but they never really thought of themselves as refugees. They built lives for themselves.

Exactly, they should be able to return to the homes of their forefathers.

>>"The Arab exodus began before the State of Israel was proclaimed, and the Jewish population, the Haganah, and most particular the Jewish authorities did their utmost to prevent the mass flight. According to the Research Group for European Migration Problems, "as early as the first months of 1948 the Arab League issued order exhorting the people to seek temporary refuge in neighboring countries, later to return to their abodes in the wake of victorious Arab armies and obtain their share of the abandoned Jewish property." Then in April when the Jews repulsed the first Arab onslaught, the Arab population panicked and started to flee in large numbers."

LOL. You mean by attacking and murdering the inhabitants of non-Jewish villages, poisoning their wells, etc. Grow up.

"Both Israeli archives and Palestinian testimonies confirm killings occurred in numerous Arab villages.[6] According to Morris, the "worst cases" were the Saliha massacre with 60 to 70 killed, the Deir Yassin massacre with around 100, Lydda massacre with around 250 and the Abu Shusha massacre with 60-70.[10] In Al-Dawayima, accounts of the death toll vary. Saleh Abd al-Jawad reports 100-200 casualties,[7] Morris has estimated "hundreds"[10] and also reports the IDF investigation which concluded 100 villagers had been killed.[11] David Ben-Gurion gave the figure of 70-80.] Saleh Abd al-Jawad reports the village's mukhtar account[13] that 455 people were missing following the al-Dawayima massacre, including 170 women and children.[.....

Oh look, she found the same stuff that many of the Muslims and their fellow travelers have posted about ad nauseam on these forums. So many of these quotes are fake that one poster when he visited Israel went to the newspaper office that supposedly quoted something that Dayan said. They looked in their archives and found out that they never published anything like that. Meanwhile, does anyone think that a Muslim like this poster is would ever be condemning what is happening to innocent people in the rest of the Middle East where her Muslim brothers are busy slaughtering people. Naturally she wouldn't mention the slaughter of Jews in Deir Yassin by her fellow Muslims in 1929, nor will she tell us that the Muslims admitted that they were lying about the number of death in the latter Deir Yassin attack by the Jews.

I see, you agree that Haganah and Irgun attacked Christian and Muslim villages, but you are quibbling about the number of deaths. Oh well, you can quibble.

You of course have absolutely no proof whatsoever that "700,000 were evicted" especially by Jews, but most importantly if anybody was asked to leave it was the Arabs who told the Palestinians to get out of the way, so that they can move in and slaughter all the Jews.

Oh my heart truly goes out to those poor Palestinians, especially since their savage Arab IslamoNazi brethren couldn't carry out their desired second holocaust upon the Jews.

The Haganah and Irgun were created to protect the Jews, after the savage Arabs committed ethic cleansing and murdered the ancient Jews of Hebron in 1929. It was after that massacre that Hebron became an "Arab city". Because the hoards of the Arab savages moved in and took over. Get it right, IslamoNazi propagandist.

Now can you prove to us that your fellow Muslims never attacked the Jews. Thank you, though, for showing us you are going to the same NeoNazi/Islamofascist sites that many Muslims like you and your fellow travelers have gone to in the past. It is just the same old, same old to many of the readers here. By the way, speaking of deaths, should I mention that your fellow Muslims have killed millions and millions since the inception of Islam. Naturally you don't care about this. As long as it is your fellow Muslims doing the killing, all is right in the world for you.

Again, you just parrot propaganda. The non-Jews left because the Israelis were murdering them, full stop.

You don't think many of us realize you are just parroting Islamist propaganda. However, if it makes you feel good, just keep on doing that so we can be entertained by a young Muslim woman regurgitating the same old, same old we have heard many times before. It really is amusing seeing Muslims post that the Israelis were killing her fellow Muslims non stop, but she will never mention all the non-stop killing that is actually committed by her fellow Muslims.

Unless you provide evidence that "the Jews evicted 700,000 Arabs" then it would be you that is parroting bullshit IslamoNazi propaganda.

And again, the Arabs drew first blood by committing the ethnic cleansing and massacre on the ancient Jews of Hebron. Arabs should leave Hebron and give it back to their rightful owners, the Jews.

Look at this piece of shit Arab whore so proud that her father was involved in murdering Jews in Hebron, and then bring back home their stolen stuff as gifts. What a depraved primitive, barbaric culture. Yeah let's give these animals more weapons. :cuckoo:
