No, just on here. I do not know the whole 2500 or so pages and probably have forgotten many things in the past 15 years, some things did change. If an adult is not working in the state of Florida and has no income they do not qualify for either obamacare or Medicaid unless a woman is pregnant. In a state as Florida that did not expand Medicaid back years ago the poverty level is at 100% and have to have the income to match to qualify, the amounts go up every year, whereas most states that did expand is at 138%.She is the expert and openly said to me she is the best expert.
One thing to ask her is if the adult is not working. How can the adult afford the affordable care act?
But many did find a way to game the system. One, for example a very wealthy old man gave his adult daughter a job care taking and 1099 for her yearly at just above poverty level and she qualified for a damn good plan at very little cost. The lower the income if you stayed above 100% the better a silver plan became. Some had zero deductible, $1 co pay to family doc and $5 to a specialist and max out of their pocket in the early years, some were $500.
