Nothing to see here. Just another massive spending bill. Supporting by big government, big spending politicians.

Business as usual.

House overwhelmingly passes $900B annual defense bill

The House on Wednesday easily passed the annual defense policy bill, sending the mammoth, $900 billion measure to the Senate ahead of the year-end deadline.

The measure, known as the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), passed the lower chamber by a vote of 312-112. Ninety-four Democrats and 18 Republicans opposed the bill.

The NDAA, a traditionally bipartisan bill that lays out defense priorities for the next year, would increase pay for service members, provide some military aid to Ukraine, restrict U.S. investment in China and fully repeal sanctions on Syria, among other things.

It also contained a provision to withhold a portion of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s travel budget until he turns over unedited footage of U.S. military strikes against alleged drug boats in the Caribbean and copies of the orders behind the operations.

You don't like the USA to have any defense huh? you think the military works for free as a charity?

All our jets run on unicorn farts and our battleships? No maintenance so they don't fail?

rockets and bombs ou can buy at your local fireworks store?

If the provision to release some video footage or travel money is withheld survives the Senate, Trump needs to veto that trash bill. Congress has methods of requesting information, this strong arm nonsense has no place in a defense spending bill. Pathetic.

You don't want to have an adult conversation about the waste and fraud that's ALWAYS built into this. And never mind the fact that there's another defense bill that's been passed already this year. Besides the NDAA.

What adult conversation? the price to keep this country ready to defend itself costs money, it's not free

how is funding our troops waste and fraud exactly?

yes $400 toilets is retarded, well that's contract and congress not taking the time to get a better deal

it's not like they contact home depot or lowes for 10K toilets, etc

Congress has had YEARS to make better deals on toilets and everything else.

Including the $400 million that's going to Ukraine.

Shift In Ukraine Support In Congress’s Proposed Pentagon Budget

The new National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) bill released by Congress Sunday night calls for maintaining funding of arms purchases for Ukraine, though at a rate drastically less than in the past, and support, albeit with caveats, to European allies. The legislation, which still must be approved separately by both the House and Senate, comes days after the White House released its National Security Strategy that distances America from support for Ukraine and Europe. It was also released as U.S President Donald Trump is seeking to end the war and Ukraine continues to lose ground to Russia.

Given that under the Biden administration the U.S. provided nearly $70 billion in direct military aid to Ukraine, the NDAA’s allocations could even be considered something of a symbolic measure aimed at reassuring Kyiv that the U.S. has not completely abandoned it. It continues the Trump administration’s efforts to put the onus of support for Ukraine on European NATO members.

On Monday afternoon, a White House official told The War Zone that the administration supports the $900 billion policy measure, “and has been working diligently to formulate a plan that will bring a durable, enforceable peace to the war in Ukraine.”

Excellent move to tighten the screws on the Sheeple and ensure that the wealthy preserve their status and grow even more wealthy and powerful .

Ensure that the fodder cannot move or purchase without ID and poison them regularly with medications and vaccines .

Get that Sheeple Herd trimmed by at least 50% .

You make out like anyone here is not in favor of keeping our military fed, paid and supplied. That's not the issue.
The issue is all the BS that's built into it that has nothing to do with keeping the military fed, paid and supplied.

Things like Funding Ukraine, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and other countries.
