You DO realize that the reason most blacks vote Democrat nowadays is because of LBJ, right?
Granted, Lincoln was in the Republican party, and after he freed the slaves, they were voting overwhelmingly Republican. But, then some racists in the South were butt hurt that the black person was voting, so they enacted all sorts of Jim Crow laws, enacted poll taxes and tests, and did everything they could to stop the blacks from voting.
Then, along comes LBJ, who decides to pass the Voting Rights and Civil Rights Acts, which allowed equality between black and white voters. It was because of what LBJ did there, that caused the black vote to shift to Democrats.
But one thing that I will advise to every Black America. Do not vote for Pres.Trump or support him. Just look at what the Dems are doing to R.Kelly. Bringing up his past, just for him staying at the Trump Plaza. That is a no, no. The Blacks are free to spend their own money. But they must stay on the plantation and takes orders from the Dems. The Blacks will be a Negro unless they get off of the plantation

Really? Dude................ya gotta stop putting everything through a political prism. Like Freud said, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. R. Kelly's problems restarted because someone decided to do a documentary on what happened back then. And, because the documentary aired, some women who had been affected by him decided to come forward.
To tell you the truth, I'm thinking that one reason a lot of documentaries are focusing on things that happened in the past was because of Robert Durst and what happened with him. They did a documentary on his past alleged crimes, and at the end, when they interviewed him, he left the room with a hot mike and went to the bathroom. When he got there, he started talking to himself about the interview and basically confessed to the crimes. A lot of people are digging up old stories (Jon Benet Ramsey, Michael Jackson, and now R. Kelly), hoping that they can somehow break open the case like those other people did with Durst.
Another reason that R. Kelly is catching so much heat is because of the current social climate with the #MeToo movement. People are feeling more empowered to come forward with their stories.
