China and the BRICS have expressed a desire for global domination,
but that's a far cry from actually achieving that.
we've been ever so politely put on notice by them.
they claim to be the legitimate next world leaders.
but they are so territorial that they've indicated they'd take Taiwan by force if they can't get it through diplomacy.

and at that point (an attempt to take Taiwan or the SCS by force), we can sink their ships, down their planes into the oceans, and destroy their shipyards and subject them to a post-axis-of-evil treatment that the Germans got after WW2. it'll cost trillions, and many allied lives, but it might be worth considering (at all levels).

the other option, of course, is an evacuation of every freedom loving Taiwanese person to "other places in the world, where they can lead happy and democraticly-valued lives". this might financially be the better option, and it certainly would appear better in the eyes of every young child and their parents throughout the world.

If the West loses Taiwan it would demonstrably worse than simply losing a democratic ally. 90% Of advanced microchips come from Taiwan. Failing to protect Taiwan is not an option. This is why Europe MUST defend Ukraine, we have to stop pretending. You all refuse to realize how close WWIII is to fruition. The sooner Americxans realize this and stop playing politics to defend political parties, the more wide eyed we might be. It is pathetic. Does MSNBC even ever mention Taiwan on their G-d foresaken network? Time to start getting focus in reality and get kids off of video games and Reality TV. But to the point, we spy on China, China spies on us. I just can't get that worked up about it.
