Holy Roman Empire really hated Jews

I thought the Bzyatine empire was Anti S but it appears the HRE was even worse.
HRE literally did not allows JEWS into most professions and could not hold land.

WORST of all- they blamed the JEWS for the black death which lead to massive pogroms. They even blamed JEWS for JESUS death.

Seems the utter hate of JEWS by Germanic people occurred centuries before the NAZIS.

Also funny that the Byzantine empire and HRE were kind of rivalies which both disliking the other one due to arguing who was the true descendants of Rome

We have a thread about Jewish history and the Holocaust, but I thought a thread specifically about Jewish persecution, other than just the Holocaust, is important. The reason being that it sheds light on why the Holocaust even happened. The Holocaust did not happen out of the blue as every evil done to the Jews was done to them centuries prior in Europe such as forcing Jews to wear special garb to identify them for persecution because they looked like everyone else, forcing them out of entire countries, putting them in Jewish ghettos, and rounding them up in mass for extermination...

The Romans looked down their noses at anyone who wasn't a Roman, and weren't choosy about who they'd crucify.

They were choosier than you might think on the crucifixion detail.

The empire had many methods of execution which were a lot less labor intensive. For example, rowers were needed on their many boats, high turnover among those condemned to row next to Judah Ben-Hur.

Getting devoured by beasts in the colosseum provided amusement for the Roman people as well as ginning up merch sales.

The RE wasn't shy about crucifying someone, but there were other methods that they could get more value from, depending on whom the condemned was.

In fact, that is one of the things I like about the Bible is it's honesty in describing their most revered Patriarchs, like Moses and king David as it tells the good, the bad, and the ugly about them.
