A defiant Gov. Kathy Hochul insisted congestion pricing cameras will stay on past a President Trump-mandated Friday deadline to stop the tolls — but said their mutual desire to revamp Penn Station is keeping broader talks alive.

Hochul told reporters Tuesday that she didn’t know if her Oval Office meeting with Trump last week changed his mind on trying to kill the hated toll for drivers entering Manhattan south of 60th Street.

Oh well, NY doesn't need that federal highway funding anyway.

The first full month also brought in over 50 million. Since the grift has gone away there is no way they will give that up.

I read where NY only spends 30% of highway funds they get from the US taxpayer on actual road construction/maintenance, the rest is grifted away through unions and "administrative costs".

Just compare what NY spends per lane mile and compare it to Virginia.

These states spend the most on their roads. But are conditions really improving?

States across the nation have been spending millions on their highways and local streets. But are they getting their money’s worth?

Virginia spends around 1/2 less and our roads are in better repair but hell, we could improve on that even.
