Hitchcock on Netflix

In a word - complete fiction. Almost the entire movie is complete fiction.
It is exactly what Hollywood has been doing - hating men. And this 2012 movie proves it.

Alma most certainly did not take over directing the film, that is both absurd and a stain upon his legacy.
Alma did not have near the role in his movies that they portray - making Hitchcock look like a buffoon needing his wife's constant help.
Alma most certainly did not come in and save the day or the film would have never happened.

Alfred Hitchcock is one of America's best directors, especially when you consider the low technology and scrimped-tiny budgets he had to work with. It is simply inexcusable to make a "mocumentary" of the making of his greatest hit movie - a "thank God for a woman" woke messaging hit piece on men.

AGAIN.

Having said that - the only thing good with this was Hopkins portrayal. But I am disappointed that he agreed to do the movie after seeing the script that made Hitchcock look like a drunken skirt chasing fool, that if it wasn't for his wife and secretary - he would have failed.

Well it was Helen Mirren, so it's OK. ;)

Damn, I had not seen Toni Collette (Peggy) since The Sixth Sense.
