GAZA, (PIC)-- Senior Islamic Jihad official Mohamed Al-Hindi belittled the move which the Palestinian authority (PA) intends to take later this month at the UN aimed at extracting recognition of a Palestinian state within 1967 borders.
Hindi attributed this to two important changes, the first is the failure of all "peace" projects, and the second is the Arab revolutions and the battle for liberation in the region.
He added that the Arab uprisings would rehabilitate the Palestinian cause as a matter of national liberation.
"Following these two changes, the failure of 'peace process' should be admitted and steps should be initiated to implement the reconciliation agreement and to reach a consensus on a national strategy based on a program for liberation in order to restore the Palestinian right," the Islamic Jihad official underscored.
The official also stressed the need for crystallizing a comprehensive struggle vision leading to new intifada against the occupation.
