Hillary's Come-Back on Her "Wealth" Comment

Sometimes people speak out and say things that they later realize did not come out as they had intended. But honestly, who hasn't done that?

Out of touch? Hillary Clinton hits back after wealth gaffe

This happens too often with her to find her a viable candidate for POTUS, in my estimation.

There was Benghazi, "What difference does it make?"; false account of being under attack while being FLOTUS; "I don't sit home baking cookies..." during an interview when Bill was in his mess at the WH. So she has trouble making her house paymentS for her houseS and her YALE payment, which even supporters find her hard to believe.

To be POTUS, one has to be sure of what they say and how it sounds. It makes a difference when you are the leader of the free world. She was shunned by leaders of other countries when she was Sec. of State and that just demonstrates she was out of her league.

Hillary is just your typical liberal elitist who champions the plight of the downtrodden poor from the comfort of her multi million dollar mansion. ..

“Well, I shouldn’t have said the five or so words that I said,"

These are the five or so words to which she was referring: "“not only dead broke, but in debt.”

She still doesn't get it. Because these words are also daming:

“We had no money when we got there, and we struggled to, you know, piece together the resources for mortgages, for houses, for (daughter) Chelsea’s education. You know, it was not easy,” said Clinton, a Yale-educated lawyer herself before entering public service.

She used her political connections to get a mortgage for a house in New York so she could carpetbag for the Senate job. She used Terry McCauliffe, who then was immediately selected as DNC Chairman and is now the Governor of Virginia.

It does not get more out of touch with the common people than that.

She was suffering. She only had a $10 million advance for her book, and she needed a house to successfully carpetbag a Senate seat in New York....it ain't easy being the First Cuckquean!

for the opposition, I agree... for her base, not so much ... moderates, possible .. a small percent ... overall effect, only slightly.

I had no plans to vote for her anyway so count me out.

No only if you have an (R) next to your name, the far left gives a free pass to anyone with a (D) next to their name, even when they are worse than Bush.

BS you will vote for her and you know it, you would vote for John Edwards over any with an (R) next to their name. So stop telling lies!!!!!

Hillary and Bill are the ultimate political opportunists.

They do not care who they hurt or what laws they violate in order to reach the top.

The Clinton's make Machiavelli look like a rank amateur. ..

She is rich and embarrassed about it. This speaks interestingly to her psyche.

She and Bill are also incredibly oily. He wasn't called "Slick Willy" for nothing, and she learned at the feet of the master.

Hillary says they struggled to piece together a mortgage.

Now, when you and I think about "struggling to piece together a mortgage", we think about our household budget. We think about our credit score. We think about how the bank is going to run us through the grist mill. We think about the sacrifices we will have to give up if we buy a house and take on that big a payment. We think about scratching together a down payment. We think a lot along those lines.

But "piecing together a mortgage" for Hillary meant pulling political strings and getting Terry McCauliffe to provide them with $1.35 million so she could run for the Senate in New York.

This asshole is using the language of the common person as camouflage for political machinations and exploitation.

She makes me sick.

See, this is where your lack of education lets you down.

Hillary is a student of Georges Sorel....

1. Georges Eugène Sorel (2 November 1847 in Cherbourg – 29 August 1922 in Boulogne-sur-Seine) was a French philosopher and theorist of revolutionary syndicalism. His notion of the power of myth in people's lives inspired Marxists and Fascists, it is, together with his defense of violence, the contribution for which he is most often remembered. Georges Sorel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hillary will say anything that fools like you will believe.

Case in point:

2. "On a first-lady goodwill tour of Asia in April 1995—the kind of banal trip that she now claims as part of her foreign-policy "experience"—Mrs. Clinton had been in Nepal and been briefly introduced to the late Sir Edmund Hillary, conqueror of Mount Everest. Ever ready to milk the moment, she announced that her mother had actually named her for this famous and intrepid explorer. The claim "worked" well enough to be repeated at other stops and even showed up in Bill Clinton's memoirs almost a decade later, as one more instance of the gutsy tradition that undergirds the junior senator from New York.

Clinton was born in 1947, and Sir Edmund Hillary and his partner Tenzing Norgay did not ascend Mount Everest until 1953, so the story was self-evidently untrue and eventually yielded to fact-checking.

For Sen. Clinton, something is true if it validates the myth of her striving and her "greatness" (her overweening ambition in other words) and only ceases to be true when it no longer serves that limitless purpose. "

I had forgotten about that! That epitomizes our former first lady, our scary candidate for POTUS!

I guess she had a flash back to her park ridge Illinois roots, by the way that suburb of Chicago was well off in her youth, I know that suburb well Harrison Ford was from there.

All she has going for her is name recognition right now. Her support is so weak that all you have to do is whisper "Clinton fatigue" in one parrot's ear, and they will all be chattering that phrase again in no time.
