Whether there’s cause for celebration or not, there will be no fireworks over the Hudson River for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
“They do have a permit for fireworks, but at this point we believe the fireworks is canceled," NYPD Chief of Intelligence Thomas Galati said Monday at a press conference discussing Election Day preparations with Police Commissioner James O’Neill and Mayor de Blasio in a Times Square police station.
The Clinton campaign had arranged to set off the light show over the river Tuesday night, but apparently pulled the plug.
