A federal judge denied Donald Trump's effort to have a fraud case involving Trump University thrown out because there was "a genuine issue" about whether Trump "knowingly participated" in a fraud scheme.
The judge did, however, rule that Trump's videotaped depositions in the case would remain sealed.
U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel's reason for keeping the videotapes sealed was to avoid a "media frenzy" before the trial.
"There is every reason to believe that release of the deposition videos would contribute to an on-going 'media frenzy' that would increase the difficulty of seating an impartial jury," Curiel said in his ruling on Tuesday.

Your role model is the first candidate: sued for rape, fraud, racist, multiple failed marriages, pussy grabber, refused to release tax returns, accused of sexual assault, 160 republican leaders ditched him, praised Korean dictator Kim, saddam h. & Putin, label as putin puppet, advocated plundering oil from Iraq & Libya, talk about his daughter ass, no trace of $102 millions donations, connections to mafia, law suits 1,900 as plaintiffs and defendants 1,450, illegal trump foundation. Etc etc etc etc. There are about 230 of these but these are the only ones I can remember.

Trump faces significant open litigation tied to his businesses: angry members at his Jupiter, Fla. golf course say they were cheated out of refunds on their dues and a former employee at the same club claims she was fired after reporting sexual harassment. There’s a fraud case brought by Trump University students who say the mogul’s company ripped them off for tens of thousands in tuition for a sham real estate course.
Trump is also defending lawsuits tied to his campaign. A disgruntled GOP political consultant sued for $4 million saying Trump defamed her. Another suit, a class action, says the campaign violated consumer protection laws by sending unsolicited text messages.
If elected, the open lawsuits will tag along with Trump. He would not be entitled to immunity, and could be required to give depositions or even testify in open court. That could chew up time and expose a litany of uncomfortable private and business dealings to the public.
One Trump case, over non-payment of tips to caterers at Trump SoHo Hotel in New York City, is scheduled to go to trial a week before Election Day.
