Last week, there was a thread asking to bring back banned members
I post on one other board, it is a sports board, with around 35K members, any 5K or so of which are banned at any given time.
Anyway, they to have been asked to bring back board members for quite some time, and today they did, but those members are only allowed to post in one specific forum, supposedly until they can prove they deserve fullrun of the board.
The results so far are HILARIOUS. Mostly its the idiots coming back and doing exactly what they did that got them banned , but the board is allowing regular member to go in and mock them ; but there are actually a few posters who are contrite and want to return to the board. Almost as funny to watch them grovel.
