Are you saying that questioning African American Intelligence is not racist?

Are you saying a scientific experiment to determine IQ differences between races is inherently racist?

Does i.q. really matter in today's world? Not even to mention the fact that science does not even know what intelligence is....so how could they possibly devise a test to measure something that is not even understood. All these tests in High School just make the African Americans feel even more alienated and segregated. Perhaps if we had more black teachers it might help and perhaps give African American kids the option of being taught by Black Teachers or Caucasoid teachers?

If it doesn't matter why do we have affirmative action?

Minority students in the school system here can choose whatever school they want to attend within the system (whites cannot).

The minority students that are choosing to attend school outside of their immediate district ...
Are choosing to attend the predominately white (78%) school in the system.
The administration and teachers in that school are also predominately white.

They are not choosing to attend school down the street in their neighborhood with predominately African American administrators and teachers.
They are choosing to go to the white school ... Where student scores exceed the other schools in the system.

I am not saying it is a matter of IQ ... I am just relating the fact that those students who can choose here ...

No school district 'held a racist science fair'. A student made a racist project and brought it to school. This is modern Republicanism, lie about everything. The OP should run in the next Republican primary.

The tax problem is true here as well ... But the predominately white school can manage the cost difference.
It is a "complex" school ... One huge campus that contains several individual schools that cover Pre-K through 12th Grade.

African Americans run the School Board.
They recruit African American teachers and administrators from all over the country with signing bonuses to fill positions in the other schools.
At some point they may question their methods if scores continue to fall behind widening the gap.

It isn't a matter of money, curriculum, availability or even IQ ... It is incompetence in management and the classroom.
There is no excuse acceptable for teachers or administrators who do not meet the requirements in the predominately white school ...

They will fire your ass if you cannot meet requirements or the students fail to show improvement.

Minority students attending the predominately white school from the poorer areas of the system still fair better in scoring and classroom discipline ...
Than their counterparts who have not made the same choice.

Then again it could very well be a product of the expectations the students are made well aware of when they enter their new school environment ...
Maybe the minority students just recognize new opportunities ...
As well as receive appropriate instructions as to what is required to achieve them.

you'd then have to have people of the various race groups,
divided by those with EXPERIENCE in answering
questions on IQ tests, vs. those of equal LACK of experience.

By the time you do that, you'd be dividing people by IQ instead of by race. So good luck trying to isolate race as a factor.

The CULTURAL issues with test taking and performance might CORRELATE with socioeconomic class that CORRELATES with race by probability, but it isn't fixed. When people have more access to academic resources to prepare for tests, that changes how well they perform regardless of race. it's more an issue of Economic CLASS and whether students had access to programs. And yes, that CAN correlate with race, if minorities tend to cluster in poor districts then that means less teaching and educational resources, and one or both parents working instead of being free to tutor kids at home or pay for tutoring. So that is going to affect test taking skills and experience that the "IQ" is based on.

You begin with a poor premise. Curriculum is equal, taking tests is equal, the environment is cultural. If a student(s) are lax in their overall test taking performance, this will be reflected in a lower IQ.

Like so many other things in this world today it has become fashionable to totally ignore facts and statistics. I don't know of even one single legitimate study that does not show Asians have higher IQ than those of European descent and both have higher IQ's than those of African descent. As much as no one wants to acknowledge actual truth, people are like dogs in that there are different breeds of humans and some are superior to others. Jimmy the Greek was 100% correct when he spoke of the reason blacks in America are superior athletes goes back to slave owners putting physically superior males and females together and the result is black athletes dominating white athletes in almost every sport now. People from India show superiority in areas such as medicine while Asians do in math. Most white people in America are mixed breeds so some are mentally superior in some areas while others are in other areas. There are exceptions but overall every study ever done will support these facts
