High upkeep dogs kept by LAZY IDIOT owners

One of my dreams is to live on a big property ...and rescue all animals that are unwanted or sick or in need.

I don't know if I ever will be able to do it.... but in the meantime, all my blessings go towards those who can help and protect all animals that way.

They are my real heroes.

The two in my avatar are rescues. I got these guys after my beloved Cozette died after 17 years. I was living in Florida and a chihuahua rescue friend brought these two over for a visit. The one in the blue jacket would not come near me and stayed at the far end of my great room. I laid down on the floor and put a treat in my mouth, she stared and was tentative. After a while she's linked over and took the treat out of my mouth. She had been by my side ever since.

The dark one came over the same visit and when I stood up she followed my with her eyes raising her head, when a finally stopped she looked me and peed. She was terrified, but a treat did wonders to cement that relationship as well.
