You know what struck me as a college student. I had a tenured professor who had grown up in the town where the college was. He went to college there and earned his doctorate there and then started teaching there. Never left home, never actually held a job in the subject he taught. Never had any real world experience. That is what most career politicians are like. Tell me, why is that a good thing? I'd take a person with real world, earn a pay check, meet a payroll experience ANYDAY over a career politician.
