But many are cut in his mold as well. First and foremost, almost all are manifestly unfit for the jobs they've been chosen to do. Some were previously accused of sexual abuse, or fraud. Some have experience on TV, especially trump TV, otherwise known as Faux. Some have made remarks that are antithetical to the mission of the agency they will lead. The entire endeavor has become so farcical it's like picking an executive from a clownish entertainment company to run the Dept. of Ed. Wait......that just happened.

As if to say, running government agencies requires no experience, expertise, or sincere desire to make things better. After all, I'm a flaming buffoon and I was the prez. MAGA.

That she ran the SBA sounds like she has some experience running shit. What happens to the DoEd remains to be seen but it will take an act of Congress to kill it and I am not sure the GOP is itching for that particular fight just yet. It would be a massively expensive undertaking that will suck the wind out of any tax cut sails. Just deciding where to put the $1.5T in outstanding federal student loans will be a challenge. They would have been better off letting Biden have his cake on that one.

I think that's the overall problem in a country that no longer considers a Politician to be an admirable career path.

The SBA is a backwater agency with a budget of 318 Million dollars.

The Dept. of Education has a budget of 238 Billion that has a national reach.
