S Korean activists protest against Japan ? Japan Today: Japan News and Discussion



If there's one thing sure to get that famous Korean emotional temper flaring it's a dispute over a few largely useless rocks in the middle of the Sea of Japan.

Last time this amazingly important issue heated up, the SKorean government actually had schools hold competitions to see which grade school kids could come up with the 'best' hate-Japan posters. We're talking little kids here.

Another time a mother and son set themselves on fire at a demonstration outside the embassy and some other guy cut off his own finger in protest.

It's pretty crazy.
