A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel isn't a "designer" dog. No more than say a German Shepard, Rottweiler, etc.

You have to kick it real hard in the head to reset it prior to mounting it, sicko.

If you don't kick it hard enough you might break your foot and maybe even fall down on the stairs.
