It's dumb but kinda fun. If you like someone's post you can give them rep points. If I rep you you get 6 points because that's how much I have accumulated. Every 1000 points you receive repped to you, you get 1 more point. I currently have 5423 rep points so that gives me a rep of 6. You can also neg rep and take away points but I think that's just mean so I never do it.
