Hegseth made it very clear yesterday.
The Dept of Defense may have cared, but the Dept of War doesn’t care.
If a female soldier is sexually harassed…..We don’t care
If minority soldiers are discriminated against…..We don’t care
If gay soldiers are beaten up……We DEFINITELY don’t care
If soldiers in a war zone engage in war crimes or torture……We don’t care
Now, Hegseth is not going to come out and say that those things are now allowed, but he is making it clear to the rank and file that if you engage in those actions, there will be no consequences.
He is also making it clear to Commanding Officers that if they get caught caring about those actions, their career is in jeopardy.
