Trump uses the word evil more frequently than me.Actually we use the term stupid most of the time for your viewpoints.
But it's okay because he's your daddy.

Of course I do because I get to think for myself. I can see why you don't see that as an option.
There's nothing "healing" about the Lost Cause narrative and pretending the confederacy was heroic.

When was this statue built? I'm not sure, I believe around 1900. America was still a very racist country. Attitudes have changed. We can view monuments like this for proof of that. It does not stand to glorify anything, only to represent a snapshot in time. It's history that does not reflect the attitudes of today. Now tell me how that is different for Nazi statues?
"you can simply say it is a historical monument [to Nazi regime] that is indicative of another time and attitudes that do not correspond to those found today"
right?
It's sad you want to defend the confederacy and the evil they sought to preserve. No, you don't.
The people who beat the Confederates made that choice and had the right to.
You are a sad pathetic SJW progressive **** behind a monitor and a keyboard.
To Trump, it's evil just to ask questions. When it comes to protecting rapists and murderers because they happen to be here illegally, he has a point.
The Hippies were rightFunny. That’s the same generation that wouldn’t give up segregation, Jim Crow and the Klan.
I think they knew the story better than you and chose to honor those who agreed with them.

We can learn from it. I think the best option is to include a plaque, with a disclaimer statement and a trigger warning, perhaps even a fainting couch, somewhere nearby.
The Hippies were right
They knew Jim Crow and Vietnam were wrong
I would have no problem with a Nazi era statue of Wehrmacht soldiers being on public display, as a reminder of the past. Both statues, there and here, need a disclaimer plaque for the general public, most of whom are ignorant of their history. So you do agree that when it comes to some deeply amoral regimes you can't simply say it is a historical monument.
It was more than violence, it was outright terrorism that liberals put an end toThere was some violence by minority white segregationists which the white majority put a stop to
Both were upheld by ConservativesIt was Democrats policy
Actually we use the term stupid most of the time for your viewpoints.
Stalin was evil, most of the idiots following him were morons.
It's sad you want to defend the confederacy and the evil they sought to preserve.
We can think for ourselves and make decisions for ourselves.
You can too, but you choose not to. The only reason you defend this is because leftists attack it. You're a hack.
There's nothing healing about "Lost Cause" narrative. You won't touch that statement because you can't.
The Confederacy was pure evil.
Any nation that is 40 percent slave can’t be labeled as anything but evil
No one is digging up graves. We just aren't going to tolerate rewriting history by racists. It's sad you have to dig up graves from over a century ago to whip up your red brigades into the proper frenzy.
You can think for yourself? Type and agree with "women can't have penises"
To Trump, it's evil just to ask questions.

Trump Calls CBS Texas Reporter ‘Evil Person' For Asking About Flood Warning Alerts
"Only a bad person would ask a question like that, to be honest with you. I don't know who you are, but only a very evil person would ask a question like that," said Trump.www.yahoo.com

If that makes me a bad person in your eyes, then you're the one who is fucked up.
Your Lost Cause rhetoric rewriting the history of the war is no longer tolerated
The racists have been rewriting the history of the Civil War since it ended. This monument is but one example of that.It makes you an SJW progressive lemming.
No one on our side is re-writing anything.
