Thank you so very much but I didn't really mean for this thread to be about me. I just thought those photos of that perfect tiny baby were beautiful and I wanted to share that.

Our baby died a few hours after birth. After a while, acceptance and fatalism set in. But 40 years later, we still grieve for her.

I'm so sorry I didn't see your post before I logged off this morning.

I understand exactly what you're saying. Its not at the front of your mind anymore and you don't cry (except I did cry over those photos) and you don't drag yourself through your days but the pain never goes away.

She will always be your little girl and you will always think about her on her birthday.
