I tried to go to a mosque in Morocco but infidels were not allowed in. The outside was beautiful.

In the USA, a lot of mosques are used as clubhouses by the Shriners, and aren't owned by the Islamic Religion at all.

I’ve been to both a mosque and a synagogue. Haven’t been to a Hindu temple or Buddhist temple.

Like Christianity, there are probably many variants of Islam practiced locally. This ban may not be in the Quran but only a local custom. Maybe?

I formerly patronized an islamonazi butcher, and he had a sideline of selling these plaques with Arabic script on them. They looked sort of cool, but I never bought one because I was afraid that the script would translate to something like "death of america" or something else objectionable, and I would never know as I didn't know Arabic.
