Has there been an increase in racism, or is it just hysteria?

Since Trump's election in 2016, there has been fearmongering on the left that, even if Trump is not a racist himself, he has enabled racism, such as in the case of racists who support his immigration policies.

Basically, while racist websites can be found on the internet, I think it would be difficult to quantify whether or not "racism" has actually increased. Maybe if we had statistics showing an increase in racist comments on social media, or an increase in hate crimes against racial minorities, we would have something to work with. But otherwise, I have no idea how someone would be able to prove a statement like this.

I will argue, though, that I believe people can be tribalistic by nature, and that this can potentially manifest in racist behavior. The left has also engaged in race-baiting and pitting racial minorities and people viewed as oppressed against the "mainstream".

Increased since when/what? if I said it has decreased to the point it is undeniable wouldn't I have to say/add something else like "since slavery"...increases and decreases in the media depend upon what political agenda is being pushed.

There has been a narrative coming from the left that Trump's elections have emboldened racism and made it more "mainstream".

Oh it started with Obama, not Trump. People got sick and tired of the Obama bandwagon painting anything not flattering to their Fertility God as racist. Folks started pushing back and here we are today.

I would say that in the larger cities racism against whites has gone up substantially. The cry for reparations and stupid stuff like that has increased. I don't see that racism against blacks has gone up at all.

This nation has had a bi-partisan consensus on equality for blacks since the mid 60s.

Anyone that claims otherwise, is a filthy leftard liar.

I would say a push for equal opportunities for Blacks. It's been a long push but before Obama, we had arrived at that point. Obama has set us back 100 years.

obama was a disaster, no doubt, but long before him the same trend was tearing this nation apart.

Lefties have been pushing a false narrative that whites are resisting black equality, when there has been a consensus on supporting it for generations.

It is insane.

Racism will always be with humanity as long as individuals teach their young ones elitism propaganda. Unfortunately for humanity our human condition(human nature) has been identified to posses serious glitches that can cause individuals to jump the sanity track & enter the "Elitist Zone."

You want to see racism, visit any Dem inner city. Blacks tell us they are pretty much Dem plantations.

Democrats used to enslave blacks to pick crops to get rich. Today Democrats enslave blacks to get rich on the BILLIONS they rake in 'for the poor' which never makes it to the poor after Dems are done skimming and scamming the money into their own bank accounts. Dems want poor blacks to remain poor and trapped on their Dem plantations.

false narrative and who is it pushed by? take a wild guess! Not sure the leader of the Klan was on any talk show recently

the left always love to race bait, been doing it since the civil war and they are experts at it now

Get a job.
He has one; he works for the FBI. He posts crap like OP on message boards to sow confusion and create chaos. They do this because they know that people are waking up and they are shaking in their high heels.

After you.
Wow look at the fed, he probably thinks he has a quick wit.

Listen, you ******* fed. He has a point. And that point is that you post so much stupid crap on this board that it gives people the impression that you don't have a job. What makes you think you can say to him to get a job? Is he on the board all the time like you? Stupid ******* fed, just clapping back as quick as he can, thinking that somehow this means that he is smart, something that all feds desperately need to feel, in order to make up for their deep feeling of physical inferiority.

No. Racism is innate. I was never told about black people before I came to the West. And immediately I could tell they were ugly savages.
